Grand Targhee is just over an hour drive to the East of Rexburg. It has a lot to offer including some amazing natural terrain, a terrain park, and is known nation wide for its amazing snow! Indisputably better snow than UTAH which means their license plates are a crock.

Kelly Canyon Resort Trail Map

Kelly Canyon is about 30 minutes south and east from Rexburg. It's a smaller mountain than Grand Targhee but it's a fun mountain to ride! They always have a lot of fun rails, boxes, and other jibs to ride and offer the only night skiing in the nearby area.
They offer discounted night passes to college students Monday through Saturday night. Discounted tickets can be purchased at Kelly Canyon's ticket office by showing your student ID.

Pebble is an operation about the size of Kelly Canyon but located on a hill that is much steeper. Some call it a mini Jackson Hole. They have a terrain park as well as access into some great sidecountry and backcountry.

Sun Valley was the first Ski Resort in the United States! Sun Valley is nestled in the Sawtooth Mountains in the heart of Idaho. The resort is about a 3 hour drive from Rexburg.
Tickets can be purchased to ride only Dollar Mountain. These tickets will be much cheaper than the full resort passes. Sun Valley has been investing a lot into their terrain park in recent years and the park resides on Dollar Mountain.
